At the student history screen, you can see the details of all the worksheets that have been checked for that student, or delete worksheets from the history. To view a student history:
1. Select a student name. From the class status view highlight a student name on the class list.

2. Double click the name, or choose Student History from the View menu. (Or, click the single student profile on the tool bar). The student worksheet history will show for the problem types and operations selected on the class list.

3. Select problem type. Choose all problem types, or whole number, decimals, fractions from the View menu. (Or, click the icon showing problem type on the tool bar).

4. Select Operation. If you are viewing a selected problem type, choose all operations or one operation from the View menu. (Or, click the icon of one or all operations on the tool bar).

The student history view for the selected student opens showing a list of worksheets and a graphic display representing activity in the operations and problem types specified.

All worksheets that have been checked for the selected student are displayed in order of the dates they were checked, with the most recent at the top of the list. The first column shows the date that the worksheet was checked, the second column tells if the worksheet was for the purpose of diagnosis or for practice, the third column tells how many problems were on the worksheet, and the fourth column shows the percentage of all problems correct. Each chart shows different colors for different information, depending on the selection of problem types and operations.

All problem types (Student History)

When the individual student history view shows all operations and all problem types, you can easily determine the operations and problem types that have been on worksheets corrected for that student.

Student History-All Problem Types

The chart graphically shows activity as follows:

Blue indicates student activity in that operation and problem type on that worksheet.

Grey indicates that worksheet had no activity in that operation.

When the Worksheet History view for a student is showing all problem types, and all operations you can:
Double click the name of one of the problem types on the Student History view, to View that student's history showing one problem type, all operations.

Double Click any rectangle toview the worksheet history for one operation and one problem type for the student.

One problem type (Student History)

When the Student History view shows one problem type, the chart shows colored boxes that explain the student's level of competence achieved at any skill level in any operation.

One operation

Student History- One Problem Type- One Operation

On the chart, each rectangle of the bar represents one skill level. The color of each square represents each student's achievement at that level on the corresponding worksheet:

Dark green: The student demonstrated competence at this skill level
Light green: The student may be competent at this skill level
Yellow: The student needs practice at this skill level
Light red: The student may need direct instruction at this skill level
Dark red: The student needs direct instruction at this skill level
Light gray: The worksheet did not have problems at this skill level

Click on any of the colored rectangles to see a skill definition, example problem, and a summary of the student's performance for that skill level on that worksheet. See "Defining Criteria for Data Analysis" for directions for setting the criteria for these status definitions.

How to view worksheet details

The Worksheet Details view shows summary information about any worksheet that has been checked for a student. You can view the details about any worksheet listed on a Student History View. To view the worksheet details screen:

1. Select a worksheet.

Click on the date of the worksheet at the Student History view.

2. View details.

When the worksheet date is highlighted, you can double-click the date, or choose Details from the View menu (or choose the worksheet icon on the tool bar). The worksheet details page appears.

The worksheet details screen shows the date the worksheet was checked, the type of problems on the worksheet (whole number, decimal, fraction), the type of worksheet (practice or diagnostic), total score, and percentage correct on the whole worksheet.

For each problem the details show:

  • The number of the problem.
  • The operation and skill level of the problem.
  • If the student answer to the problem was correct or incorrect.
  • The problem itself, with the correct answer.

How to delete a worksheet

If, for any reason, you do not want the results of the worksheet kept in the student history, you can delete the results of checking a worksheet. For example, you may want to do this if the worksheet was checked incorrectly. To delete a worksheet:

1. Select a student name on the class list. Either double-click the name, or single click the name and click the student symbol on the toolbar. A list of worksheets that have been checked for the student appears.

2. Click the date of the worksheet.

3. While the date of the worksheet is highlighted, choose Delete Worksheet from the Edit menu. An alert appears to verify that you want to delete the data about that worksheet from the student's list of completed worksheets. Click OK to delete, and cancel to leave the history of worksheets the same.
