How can I share
information about student and class progress with others?
Class Manager keeps records of all the worksheets you have checked for all students in your class (es). Not only can you easily view the current skill level and history of progress for any student, you can also produce reports to share with others such as parents and other educators (See Reports). The data shown in the reports can be printed, saved in a text file, or you can copy the data and paste in other programs where you might be keeping test scores and progress information. How can I make a report that shows how a student did on a worksheet? After you check a worksheet for a student (See Checking Worksheets) a worksheet summary report (See View a worksheet summary report) appears on the screen. This report summarizes the score of that worksheet. You can print this report or copy the information and paste in another application. You can get even more detailed data by printing the worksheet details (See "How to view worksheet details" in Student History). When the Worksheet Details are showing, choose Print from the File menu. How can I make a report that shows the skill level at which a student is working? Choose Student Status from the Reports menu to see the recommended skill level for next assignment (See "Student Status Report" in Reports). How can I make a report that shows the progress a student has made? Choose Student Progress from the Report menu. (See "Student Progress Report" in Reports). Specify the date range you want reported. The Student Progress report tells how the student progressed from the skill level that the student started at to the highest level completed for all skill levels in all problem types during that date range. You can also view the student progress by choosing Student Progress from the View menu. Specify the types of problems and operations to show on this view, and look at graphs showing progress from the date the student started to the current date. You can print this view. How can I make a report to show the details of all the worksheets on which a student worked? Choose Student History from the Reports menu. (See "Student History Report" in Reports) This lists all the worksheets that a student has completed during the date range you specify. You will be able to report the number of problems, the score achieved, and the type of problem, the operation, and the skill levels for each worksheet. How can I determine how a class has progressed through time? Choose Class Status from the report menu to get a report showing the target skill level for each student as of the current date. (See "Class Status Report" in Reports). Periodically run this report, and print or save a copy, to be able to compare the class status on different dates. Students making adequate progress should be working on higher skill levels in more recent reports. You can also print a copy of the Class Status View, to get an overview of how students are progressing through the operations. You should see an increase of "skills completed". To be able to compare the number of students working on different skill levels over time, choose Class Profile from the Reports menu. If the overall class is progressing, the number of students working on lower level skills should decrease as the number of students working on higher levels increases. How can I make a report that summarizes how many students are working at the different skill levels or types of problems? Choose Class Profile from the Reports menu. (See "Class Profile Report" in Reports). This reports the number of students working at each skill level
