To learn the names of coins, choose the Identify Coins activity at the main screen of the Math Skill Builders: Count Money program. Click "New Problem" to start the activity. A group of coins appears in the large window. Below the coins is the direction that tells which coin to get. Click the coin named. The message in the bottom window tells how you did. If you got the correct coin you can choose a New Problem. If you did not get the correct coin you can try again or choose a New Problem. You can keep trying until you get the right coin. When you are correct, all of the non-selected coins disappear from the field of coins. Click the 'Allow Talking' check box to allow or disable talking for this activity. Click the 'Show Score' check box to allow or disable the score display for this activity. Click the 'New Problem' button for another problem, or click the 'OK' button to end this activity and return to the main screen. Return to the Table of Contents |
