How to Use Make Change as a Teaching Tool

In Make Change, choose Quit after any number of transactions to see the cashier's report. This report tells how many transactions have been completed by the cashier, the amount of time for the transactions, and reports if the drawer is balanced. With this information it is possible to set criteria for a cashier improving, such as:

Make change 100% accurately in decreasing amounts of time.
Make change for a set number of purchases and maintain a correct balance in a cash drawer.
Conduct ____transactions correctly within _____time.
Demonstrate ability to keep a balanced cash drawer after a specific number of transactions.

Each cashier's report can be saved to record progress over time. The reports will indicate if a cashier is progressing toward the accuracy and time goals set.
