Setting Program Options

The Program Options window is only available from the New Cashier Sign In Window.

Click the Options button on the New Cashier Sign In window. The Program Options window will open.

The Program Options window allows you to change the default program mode, level, and whether or not to automatically save reports.

Mode:

• Count Change: The amount of change due is known.
• Make Change: The amount of change due is not known.

Level:

Beginning:
• Cashier can not end a transaction until correct change is given.
• Total amounts are shown in Customer area and in Holding Tray.
• Drawer is fixed (re-changed) automatically.
• Largest charge is $10.00
Intermediate
• Cashier is allowed to make errors.
• No totals are shown for Customer area and Holding Tray.
• Drawer is fixed by clicking a button (calling the manager)
• Largest charge is $50.00.
Advanced
• Cashier is allowed to make errors.
• No totals are shown for Customer area and Holding Tray.
• Drawer is fixed by dragging money to the bank (going to the manager)
• Largest charge is $100.

Automatically Save Reports

• You might choose to save reports automatically if, for example, you are testing employees and do not want them to forget to save the report.
