Math Skill Builders: Whole Number Arithmetic complements regular classroom and textbook instruction. Due to the individualized nature of the program, learners work on the arithmetic skills they need to learn, not on skills specified by grade level. If the learner has a math teacher, that teacher can help identify the skills the learner needs to learn, or areas of learning that need extra assistance. You can use Skill Level Definitions and Reports to help discuss with the teacher what the learner is working on, and how the learner is progressing in developing skills with whole number arithmetic. See State Standards to relate Math Skill Builders levels to state math goals.
