File Menu

Choose File from the menu bar and pull down the File menu to have commands to select.

Choose New Student from the File menu to start a new file in Math Skill Builders for a new user. A new untitled main window appears. This opens a new file but any work that you save now is untitled.

Choose Open from the File menu to get a file. Double-click a name to open a file that you have previously saved from Math Skill Builders. The main window title then shows the name of the file currently open.

Choose Save As from the File menu to save a file with your name. (You do not need to do this if you already chose to save a file with your name.) If you do not want the file name that appears in the box, type a new name for the file. Click Save. This saves a file with the name that is in the box, in the folder whose name shows at the top of the screen.

Choose Close from the File menu to put away an open file. The program automatically saves the results of any work you completed this session.

Choose Preferences from the File menu to set the preferences that customize Math Skill Builders activities.

Choose Quit to leave Math Skill Builders. Math Skill Builders saves the results of any work that you completed this session.
