Click Tutor to watch demonstrations of how to solve problems

Click Practice to solve problems at your skill level

Click Assignment to have printed homework problems

Click Check Assignment if you have an assignment to check

When you finish each activity, you return to this main window.

At the upper-right corner of the main window you see the operation and skill level, and skill level definition, of the example problem on the screen. The activities are always at the skill level and operation showing on this screen.

At the bottom-right of the main window is a large box showing the Example Problem. Click Another Example to see more example problems at the same operation and skill level.

At the middle-left of the main window is Operation. Click a button: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication or Division, to choose the operation for the example problem and your activities. Refer to "Student Select Operation" in Setting Preferences to see how you can control whether to make this option available.

At the bottom-left of the window is the choice of Skill Level. Set the number in the box to choose a skill level (1-13) for the example problem and for the activities. Refer to "Student Select Skill Level" in Setting Preferences to see how you can select whether to make this option available. If you want Math Skill Builders to manage the progress through the skill levels, do not set this number yourself.
