This documentation uses the following terms to explain how to run the program: Choose To choose an item from a menu, move the pointer to the item, then click. Click Press and release the mouse button. To click a button on the screen, move the pointer to that button, then press and release the mouse button. To click a checkbox, move the pointer to the checkbox, then press and release the mouse button. Clicking a checkbox will either place or remove a checkmark. Drag Position the pointer on the item on the screen, press and hold the mouse button, and move the mouse. Release the mouse button when the item is where you want it. Pointer This refers to the arrow that you can move on the screen. Move the mouse around on the mouse pad and you will see that an arrow pointer moves on the screen. The directions tell you to move the pointer to different places on the screen to make choices. In Practice and Diagnosis you can change the pointer to a number. See how to do this in "Guide Student's Solution" in Setting Preferences. Pull down To pull down a menu from the menu bar at the top of the screen, move the pointer to the menu name, press and hold the mouse button, move the mouse so that the pointer is on the menu you want. Release the mouse button to choose that menu. Select To select an option presented by a checkbox, move the pointer to the checkbox. Then click in the checkbox. A checkmark in the checkbox selects that option. To deselect an option, remove the checkmark. |
