Choose an arithmetic operation to test. Make a worksheet with at least one problem from each skill level. You may not want to include skill levels at which you are certain the student is not competent. Have the student solve the problems. Check the answers with an answer key. Identify the lowest level at which the student did not answer the problem correctly. This is probably the best level to start practice. Return to the Table of Contents |
