Worksheet Generator makes problems at thirteen different skill levels in each operation. This provides students with systematic, successful progress since each level is just slightly more difficult than previous level. If students have difficulty with most of the problems at a given level, they should try working on earlier levels. If students can successfully complete all problems at a level, they should proceed to the next level. Start by identifying the skill level at which the student is always successful. Look at the skill level definitions and choose a skill level that describes skills you think the student has. Make a worksheet at that skill level. If the student correctly solves the percentage of problems you define as passing (for example, 80%) pick the next higher skill level. The level at which the student does not solve an acceptable number of problems is the level at which practice should begin. When students complete most of the problems presented at a given level, move up a level. To look at the lists of skill definitions, choose an operation on the main screen. For each operation a screen appears with a list of skill levels to choose.
