When you start the Worksheet Generator program the main screen appears. At this screen you can create a whole number arithmetic worksheet, preview and print the worksheet, make an answer key, and preview and print the answer key.
Create Worksheet
You can make an arithmetic worksheet with up to 50 problems. You can choose any operation or combination of operations for one worksheet. Problems will appear on the worksheet in the order you choose the operations. Follow these steps to make a worksheet:
Choose the operation
Under Choose Operation on the main screen, click Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication or Division. A screen appears with a list of skill levels for the operation you chose.
Choose skill levels and number of problems
After you choose an operation, a screen appears with thirteen skill level definitions for the operation you chose. On the line at any skill definition, type a number in the box under Number of Problems. When you have typed a number (or numbers) for all the skill levels you want on the worksheet, click Done. The worksheet generator will add problems to the worksheet at the level (levels) you selected. Problems appear in the order of the skill levels. For example, you might type 5 for the number of problems in the first three skill levels. The worksheet would show five problems at level 1, five problems at level 2 and five problems at level 3. Click Cancel if you do not want selections at this screen to appear on the worksheet.
When you return to the main screen you can choose the same operation or another operation to add more problems to the worksheet.
